Residencies

Our residencies support digital entrepreneurs, tech visionaries and creative technologists who want to turn their ideas into successful innovations. We welcome applications from individuals, start-ups, small teams and those developing new digital products or services at existing businesses. Our current focus is to support those working in four core theme areas. These are:

-Immersive: Virtual and Augmented Reality

-Connected: 5G and Internet of Things

-Intelligent: Artificial and Computational Intelligence

-Data: Big Data and Data Visualisation tools

So what do our residencies include?

-Subsidised rates: from £99 per person (+ vat) per month

-Access (on a fair use basis) to the Brighton Immersive Lab & equipment

-Opportunities to learn about and access the 5G Brighton testbed

-Flexible terms: one-month minimum commitment from you

-Peer-to-peer support and collaboration with other FuseBox residents

-Connections and introductions to corporate and academic institutions

-Optional paid access to our on-site data center: The Brighton Digital Exchange (BDX)

-Advice and support from the Wired Sussex team (requires membership)

-Regular meetups, social events, field trips and workshops

-Access to hot desks, meeting rooms, coffee and phone/Zoom pods

Due to popularity and space limitations, the FuseBox residency application is a competitive (but friendly!) process and we hold group interview sessions on a fortnightly basis to help us select new residents.
