Although not a technology commonly associated with immersive, 3D printers provide a range of opportunities when combined with other equipment housed in the FuseBox.

Notably, there is an increasing array of virtual reality applications designed to enable the creation of art and 3d designs in a virtual space. Applications such as Google Tiltbrush and Quill allow artists to quickly design and prototype in VR before exporting the 3D model to be printed.
We have also experimented with using the 3D printer in combination with our Sense 3D Scanner which enables the printing of accurate miniatures of both people and objects.
